All ferrets listed as a
pair or trio, must be adopted together. Those listed as
long-term fosters will remain in foster care due
to their ongoing health issues.
Those listed as
PENDING are ferrets
whose adoptions will soon be finalized.
** FRES currently has
66 ferrets in foster care.

Aspen
Long-term foster |
|
Aspen is a 9 year old silver female.
Aspen has been
bounced from place to place. Despite this, she
constantly shows us that even with all the chaos
in life, she is a sweet little girl who shows
her love for humans on a daily basis.
Aspen recovered well from her adrenal surgery
some time ago and is a real joy to be around so
you better be careful or else she will steal
your heart (and maybe your slippers too)! No
worries though as she always stashes her loot in
the same place which makes those slippers very
easy to find. Aspen will come to you when
called and will sit with you for a short time
for some cuddling before heading off for her
next adventure. Aspen is very good about using
her litterbox.
Aspen lost her best friend, Kiki, years ago to
lymphosarcoma, but she is doing well with the
extra TLC from her foster mom.

|
Tazzie
Long-term foster |
|
Tazzie is a 8.5 year old dark sable male who is
a very calm and trusting boy. His zest for play
certainly explains why he was named Tazzie! That
said, he does enjoy his long naps. He loves
drinking out of the bathtub and is good at using
the litter box. He does get along well with the
foster cat, but tends to dislike other ferrets.
Tazzie would thrive in a quiet home with older
children. Sadly, Tazzie's friend, Matilda,
recently crossed over the rainbow bridge. We
will give him some time to grieve before finding
out if he is willing to accept another ferret
friend into his life.
It
was recently found that Tazzie has an unknown
mass in his abdomen and is on daily medication
to maintain his health. Due to this ongoing
medical condition, he is classified as a long
term foster.
Donations for his ongoing medical care can be
forwarded to McKnight 24 Hour Veterinary
Hospital (see our Getting Involved section for
more details.) |

Casper |
|
Casper is a 6 year old sweet DEW female who will
shower you with kisses. Casper is deaf but that
doesn't slow her down. She loves her duck soup
and will let you know when it is time for her
'treat' by staring at you with those beautiful
eyes. She also loves to sleep is cuddled up in
her hammock with her other ferret friends.
Casper has a tendency to become stressed and
develop ulcers very easily and therefore
requires a very quite home. She recently had
adrenal surgery and is recovering well. |

|
|
Desmond & Molly
Jo |
|
Desmond is a 4 year old DEW male, who loves to
be cuddled and give kisses. Both he and his
sister Molly Jo, were abandoned and then
surrendered to FRES in August 2007. He loves to
play and can frequently be found wrestling with
his other foster buddies. He also goes crazy
for his favourite toys that shake and
vibrate. He definitely knows how to have fun
with both his ferret and people friends. Even
though Desmond displays asthmatic symptoms and
has a heart condition, he remains very active
and would fit in well with any type of family.
He is given medication twice daily, but for the
joy he brings, the extra TLC is definitely worth
it! His foster family loves his playful
attitude and his ability to take of himself with
other ferrets.
Molly Jo is a 4 year old friendly female
albino, who loves to dook as she plays
with toys. She is timid and sweet until she
gets to know you, but can definitely take care
of herself. She is very active and curious, and
acts and looks like a much younger ferret.
Molly is very social with other ferrets, as she
gets along extremely well with her fellow foster
buddies. Most days Molly is good with the litter
box, but we all make the occasional mistake and
Molly is no different. Like a typical ferret,
she is a sock and shoe thief, hoarding them with
her partner in crime, Desmond. |

 |
|
Taz |
|
Taz,
a 5 year old sable male is a very laid back
gentle giant. Taz gets along with other passive
ferrets, but is too passive himself to be
integrated with more assertive ferrets. He
keeps to himself, but has become fairly good
friends with his foster brother, Bear. He likes
to sleep in his shredded paper box or on his
foster mom's bed (even if cuddled up next to
Lou, a brown tabby.) Taz requires twice
daily medications for his insulinoma and really
enjoys his daily chicken baby food. |

|
|
April & Jessica |
|
April and Jessica are a great pair of 3 year old
sable females. These girls have an endless
amount of energy. Jessica loves to run, not
walk, so she needs a family who is willing to
chase her and enjoy some fun exercise.
Although April's foster family is working
on her using the litter box, she tends to go
wherever the need strikes her so she needs an
understanding family. Jessica
and April are very dominant with other ferrets
and require a home where they will be the only
ferrets or with ferrets who can stand up for
themselves.
It is also recommended that they go to a house
with older children.
Both April and Jessica had adrenal surgery in
December 2009 and are doing well. |

 |
|
Fiona |
|
Fiona is a 1.5 year old pretty sable female who
was surrendered by a caring pet store owner at 5
months old to be rehabilitated by FRES, instead
of euthanized by the breeder. Although we do
not know much about what Fiona has endured prior
to coming to FRES is was enough to seriously
damage her trust in people. Fiona has made some
large improvements and hardly ever bites her
foster family. Sometimes she will still turn to
bite but stops when she realizes that being held
is not that bad, demonstrating that old habits
can be hard to break. She has even relaxed and
closed her eyes while receiving a body massage.
Fiona is able to make friends well with other
foster ferrets but is still quite possessive of
her “space” and will guard her bed from people.
With time and patience, Fiona is understanding
that she does not have to fear people and is
blossoming into a wonderful companion. Fiona has
not reacted well to potential adoptive families,
meaning that they too will have to work to gain
her trust.
Fiona would need a home that was extra diligent
about ferret proofing as Fiona has the tendency
to chew on any items made of plastic or rubber,
which can increase the risk of Fiona developing
a life-threatening intestinal blockage if
eaten. At present, Fiona could only be adopted
by someone experienced enough to continue in her
rehabilitation. |
 |
|
Abbey |
|
Abbey is a
10-month old silver
female. She
is a 'diva' with amazing abilities. She can
climb or jump up almost anything so your
ferretproofing skills should be up to the task!
When she's awake, she has a lot of energy and
will either explore the house, or want to play
some games with you or the cats! She views cats
as toys to jump on and ride.... most cats hate
that! As such, she will need a home with
no cats or very well-tempered cats.
Hammocks are not
good enough for Abbey, who has discovered
sleeping in drawers is great since all the
clothes can be rearranged for that 'custom'
feel. She likes to follow her foster parents
and help with the daily cleaning tasks like
chasing the broom. She likes to play on the bed
and be chased around the house. She enjoys
a good wrestle and will usually only make noises
when other ferrets whom she doesn't like, are
too close to her. While she has made it clear
that she doesn't like other ferrets, we are
seeing signs that she will tolerate another
ferret in her room. We would recommend she be
adopted to a home where she will be the only
ferret queen! She will reward you with amazing
feats of agility and intelligence as she does
her best to get into areas that are meant to be
Abbey-free. She has become an accomplished
shoulder-rider and loves to be toured around up
so high! Being deaf hasn't slowed her down
in the slightest, although it does explain her
deep sleeps. She needs more work on litter
pan use, but does her best to hit the corners.
Abbey loves shoe
insoles, so these are best removed from her
reach or placed in a sealed box. She also
has a fondness for soft rubber, so TV remotes,
toothbrushes, watchbands, slipper soles etc. are
all attractive, but deadly for her. Being
so intelligent and agile, she can get many
places most ferrets would give up on, so she
will need diligent and watchful parents to
ensure she isn't able to get into something
dangerous.

|
Hans |
|
Hans is a gentle, five year old sable male who
has insulinoma. He was surrendered in April
2008 because the owner had allergy problems.
This fun-loving guy loves the company of other
ferrets, and is also good with people of any
age. But don't let his laid back attitude fool
you. He has a great deal of personality, and he
can defend himself against the toughest of
foes. He loves crocheted eggs and will hide
them from his ferret pals. He loves to be
cuddled and wants to spend as much time
as possible with his human friends. He loves
Ferretone, Totally Ferret treats and chicken
soup. Despite having insulinoma, he looks
healthy and is energetic.
Since being in foster care, both of his former
friends, Cruiser and Grandma, have crossed over
the rainbow bridge.

|
Brea |
|
Brea is a 2 year
old (approx.) silver female. When she
first arrived at FRES, she had not been exposed to much in her
life and was quite nervous when in new situations and when
meeting new people. Thanks to the TLC of
her foster family,
Brea
is no longer nervous when she is in new
situations, however she does take sometime
adjusting to new people and tries to let them
know she is the boss. With a little
corrective behavior she does fine after she gets
to know you. She does need to go to a home
with other ferrety friends. She has good
bathroom habits, but prefers puppy pee pads
rather than litter. She loves to play
chase and will play for hours with either her
ferret friends or us humans.
She discovered that
she likes almost all treats but especially loves ferretone. Brea is well behaved, doesn’t
climb and is very chatty,
running around dooking to herself the whole way. Brea absolutely loves
tunnels and the foster family's cat! She
likes to get in the bathtub and drink out of a
dish the foster home keeps in there for them. |
 |
|
Dawn |
|
Dawn is a
small, deaf 3-4 year old
DEW female with a black tail. Like
a lot of ferrets, Dawn is an exceptional escape
artist and therefore needs to be closely
monitored in a completely ferret-proofed home.
She is able to squeeze into the tiniest places
and will scramble into any open cupboard, fridge
or door she can. Not to mention she is
great at digging and climbing! She
likes to play rough and can get a bit nippy at
times and would do best in a home without
children. She enjoys being outside and
likes to go for walks. She does not like
to play with toys and her litter box habits
still need some work as she tends to miss from
time to time. |
 |
|
Anastasia & Bear
Long-term foster |
|
Anastasia is a 4.5 year old
cinnamon female and Bear is a 3 year old sable
male.
When they came to FRES, they had only
experienced caged-life together, but have since
adjusted to free-roam times, most
enthusiastically. Anna was scared of nothing to
start, but has since learned SOME healthy
caution. Anastasia is an energetic, fast,
wiggly and adventurous ferret who loves to play
with both human and ferret friends. Anastasia
has been doing well since her adrenal surgery a
few months ago.
Bear is a bright eyed and chatty ferret who
loves to play, hide food and sleep snuggled up
with Anastasia. Bear is more timid than
Anastasia, and tends to have a "run first, ask
questions later" attitude.
Bear has an enlarged heart, and will require
medications for the rest of his life. He
will remain in foster care as we do not want to
risk stressing him out in a new environment.
Both are very good with other ferrets and have
had some supervised experience with a dog. Both
are very good at using litter boxes.
|

 |
|
Benny & Phil |
|
Benny is a 3 year
old sable male while Phil is a 4 year old sable
male. They were surrendered in November
2008 when the owner went to school in Europe.
Phil is an energetic escape artist who's
always concentrating on his next move. His
brother Benny, is a great climber who loves to
play like a kitten. Benny will kiss you all day
long, and Phil has become very loveable given
his improved manners. They are both wonderful,
and would be entertaining friends for
any family. Their foster family definitely loves
their personalities. They look forward to a
great home with lots of things to do, and
a family who love interesting, playful ferrets. |

 |
|
Butterscotch
Long-term foster |
|
Butterscotch is a 4.5 year old active DEW female
with a very good disposition. She loves playing
with people or other ferrets. As a healthy eater, she
can frequently be found staring up at her
foster Dad, with a "Is that are there is?"
look. She also likes to carry around
her stuffed bone toy. Butterscotch
was recently diagnosed with an enlarged heart
and will be on heart medications for the rest of
her life. She will remain in foster care
as we do not want to stress her out by moving
her to a new environment.
Sadly, since being in foster care,
Butterscotch's cage mate, Chinook, passed over the
bridge after he developed liver disease. |
 |
|
Farrah |
|
Farrah is a 2.5 year old sable female who will
occasionally nip; her foster parents
will work with her to get her used to being
handled.
Sadly, Balen, a 3 year old DEW male, lost his
life suddenly. He was a gentle giant with tons of energy
who will be missed dearly.
|
 |
|
Dusty & Blaze |
|
Dusty is a 3 year old DEW
sweet female. Her
favorite thing in the whole world is to use her
human friends as jungle gyms. She will gladly
come up to you for some hugs before crawling up
on your shoulders and making herself quite
comfortable. Before you know it, she is
showing you her appreciation with some vigorous
tail wagging. Dusty recently had surgery
to remove her adrenal gland and part of her
pancreas and is recovering well.
Blaze is a 3 year
old silver female who is a
barrel of energy! She will romp around
with her buddies for hours. Blaze is a vocal
little girl who makes light hiss sounds but
doesn't mean any harm.
Formerly of a
group of 8, Dusty and Blaze segregated themselves
from the rest, along with their friend, Casper,
who crossed over the Rainbow Bridge earlier this
year. This pair
seemed to be the most stressed out from losing
their home and family, but since
they have gone off
on their own, they are nipping less and appear
to be much happier and healthier. |

 |
|
Ojo |
|
Ojo is a 2 year old silver male with beautiful
silver markings, and an almost black tail. When
Ojo first arrived at his new foster home, he
showed little interest in his foster mom's other
ferrets, or even his new foster dad! It
was up onto his foster mom's shoulder, into her
sweatshirt hood and time for a nap! Ojo
has since realized that other ferrets are really
fun to play with and after a while of being
shown the ropes he settled in quite nicely with
the rest of them! Ojo has a wonderful
personality and still sticks close to his foster
mom (only really when nap time comes) and loves
being with other ferrets that can keep up with
him.
Ojo has had adrenal
surgery
and will be adopted shortly.

Felix, Koda &
Cheyanne |
|
Felix is a 5 month old champagne male, Koda is a
big, gentle 2 year old dark sable male and
Cheyanne is a sweet and fluffy 9 month old
silver female.
Felix came to us very young and still needed to
learn his manners. He has improved
drastically and is no longer a nippy kit. He has
a ton of energy to spare and can often be found
flying though the air while leaping and playing.
Koda is the dominant male of this group.
He loves attention and will follow you around,
waiting to be picked up and cuddled. He
DOES NOT like sqeakly toys and will bite your
ankles to make you stop. He will also
sometimes bite ankles when he wants attention.
Cheyanne is a pretty girl filled with spunk.
She is smaller than the boys but don't let that
fool you, she can almost scale walls.
They require a home that has lots of time and
energy to devote to them, for which they promise
to give back lots of love in return. This
trio is wonderful and their foster family will
be sad when they find a forever home. |

 |
|
Paris |
|
Paris is a 1.5
year old sweet DEW girl who was abandoned by
her owner when he made a midnight move.
She likes to chase other ferrets, and seems to
like being chased as well. She is suspected to
be deaf, which may contribute to her still being
a bit nervous at times. Since many ferrets
are deaf, FRES can offer tips on how to minimize
the chances of startling Paris when she doesn't
expect you. She is a bit of a cuddler,
likes to sleep in a dark burrow-box or drawer
and is a joy to have around.
|
 |
|
Vienna |
|
Vienna, a 1.5 year
old sable female, came to us a very frightened
ferret after being left behind by her owner when
he moved away. With time, she is getting
better about exploring further from her safe
areas, but a loud noise or rapid movement will
send her scurrying. She is very pretty,
and has a lovely coat of fur. She is inquisitive
and athletic as demonstrated by her ability to
jump in and out of the bathtub. Her foster
parents are working diligently with her to teach
her not all humans are bad. They can now
pick her up and handle her for short periods
before she gets agitated and tries to nip.
Vienna has been
observed playing by herself, jumping and
dancing, so we know she wants to have fun; she
just needs to learn to trust those around her.
Vienna will come
running when the treat bag is rattled and is
learning how to take the treat gently from your
fingers. She is cautious around other
ferrets and isn't usually the aggressor, but can
hold her own against some ferrets. |
 |
|
Maggie & Mollie |
|
Maggie is a 5 year
old albino female and Mollie is a 6 year old
silver female. These girls were
surrendered because their owner moved away.
These two are friendly girls and were well taken
of by their former owner. More information
to be posted once their foster family gets to
know them better. |

 |
|
Miika |
|
Miika is a 5.5 year old sable female who was
surrendered because her former owner could not
afford to pay for her adrenal surgery.
Miika has a very nice temperament, is litter
trained and is comfortable with cats and all
people. She likes playing with crinkle
bags and cat toys with bells. |
 |
|
Sparkle |
|
Sparkle is a 2 year old
silver female who, sadly, was left in a carrier
on the side of the road. Thankfully,
Sparkle was found by some good Samaritans who
took her to a ferret-knowledgeable friend, who
in turn notified FRES. Sparkle was named such
by our volunteers because she is a lively,
loving, sweet and gentle ferret that brightens
up any day with how excited she is to see you
whenever you come in the room. She shows her
love by giving endless kisses when you pick her
up. Sparkle has had adrenal surgery and is
ready to be adopted.

|
Stacey & Crissy |
|
Stacey is a
3 year old DEW female, surrendered
as the result of a divorce. She is
sweet, gentle and quite shy, but has started
to come out of her shell. More information will be
posted once her foster family gets to know
her better.
Crissy is a 3 year
old sable female who recently and suddenly
crossed over the bridge. She will be
missed by all who knew her.
 |

 |
|
Crystal &
Baillie |
|
Crystal is a 3.5
year old albino female and Baillie (pronounced
'Bailey') is a 3.5 year old silver female.
These girls grew up together and were
surrendered because their previous owner had no
more time to spend with them.
Crystal is a happy, high-energy girl who loves
to explore. She also loves to be with
people, and being slim and rippled with
muscles, she will climb when given the
opportunity. Crystal gets along with other
ferrets, but loves her pal, Baillie. She's
gradually improving with the litter box outside
of the cage
Baillie
doesn't like ferrets other than Crystal, but
we're confident that with time her comfort with
other ferrets will improve.
Her only friend, apart from people, is her
sister Crystal. She is fascinated with squeaky
and moving toys, and enjoys cuddling when she
wakes up. Her litter habits are good.
Baillie recently underwent surgery to have one
of her front legs amputated due to the growth of
a large boney mass. She is recovering well
and seems to be managing well on three legs.
Baillie has a
complete
distrust of other ferrets. Her only
friend, apart from people, is her sister
Crystal. She has an old injury to her
front leg, but that doesn't stop her from giving
it her all to a good game of chase. Ponzi, as
her foster family calls her, has a great
fascination in squeaky and moving toys, and
enjoys cuddling just as she wakes up. She is
normally very good with her toilet habits. |

 |
|
Dover |
|
Dover is a silver-mitt male
and is approximately 1.5 years old. He was found
wandering the streets of the community of Dover
(hence his name) but was never claimed. Dover is
a ferret full of spunk and energy!
He can climb almost
anything, loves jumping in the shower with you
and drinks out of the toilet like a dog!
He would love nothing more than to have the
attention of every single member of the
household, every minute of the day. He
would do best in a home with no small children
and very understanding cats (as he likes to
chase them). Dover does not like to be
caged and would require a home with minimal cage
time or a free-roaming household. He has
some difficulty getting along with other ferrets
and either gets picked on or plays too rough,
but he could get along with the 'right' friend.
He is still learning some manners and tend to
nip when he does not get his own way but this is
nothing that a little time and understanding
won't fix. Dover would be perfect for the
family who wants a fun, comical companion. |
 |
|
Havoc & Chaos |
|
Thick as Theives
Havoc and Chaos
are an interesting pair for sure. Havoc, a 3
year old silver male, is nothing but a ball of
energy who wants to play and play and play. He
absolutely loves dryer tubes and can be found
running in and out of them for a very long time.
He does have some trust issues with males (of
the human variety) and will run and hide, or
attempt to bite when being picked up by one.
His foster mom has somewhat gained his trust and
he will let her pick him up for a quick cuddle,
but this disrupts his tube time, so only a quick
cuddle before squirming to be put back down.
Sometimes, when he is deep in play mode and
someone goes to pick him up, he will turn and
nip, but his foster mom is continuing to work
with him to let him know that human cuddling
isn’t that bad. He is having trouble
getting used to ferretone being put on his belly
and will squirm away (causing his foster mom to
get covered in it) but again, trust is the key
so for right now a little on the tummy and the
rest on a plate for him to enjoy. Havoc
does not like any other ferret other than
Chaos, and will make that very clear. He needs
to go to a home where his only buddy is Chaos as
he can very rough with a ferret other than
Chaos. He is still having trouble gaining
weight, but his foster mom thinks he’s just
burning it all off so he can continue to have
duck soup in his diet.
Chaos is a
beautiful 4 year old sable male, who can’t ever
keep up with Havoc. Sure, he likes to play and
will be found running up and down the tube with
Havoc, but only for a little while until he’s
down for a quick nap. He’s a gentle guy who,
when you come to visit for play time, will come
running at you for some cuddles. He does have an
ongoing cough (cause is yet to be determined),
but it really doesn’t slow him down in any way.
He’s the same as Havoc when it comes to
ferretone, but is a lot quicker to trust and
will snuggle in your arm while he licks it all
off.
These two will be
found sleeping one on top of the other at all
times (their foster mom has yet to see them
sleeping separate). They have spent the majority
of their life before FRES in a cage, so would
need somewhere with a ferret proof room or a new
home that is committed to lots of out of cage
time. It is also suggested that because of
Havoc’s trust issues, that they go to a home
where there are no small children and someone
willing to continuously work with him. |

|
Athena, Aries &
Diego |
|
Athena is a 2
1/2 year old DEW female, Aries is a 6 1/2 year
old sable female, and Diego is a 5 1/2 year old
silver male. Aries and Diego, being older,
enjoy sleeping away most of the day. Their
sister Athena, being quite a bit more active,
will jump on them and get them going when she
decides it is playtime. All three enjoy running
through tubes, happily crawling into your lap
for some cuddles before running off to play some
more. Diego has had adrenal surgery and has
recovered well. Athena and Aries are awaiting
surgery for adrenal disease. |

 |
|
Marley & Polar |
|
Marley is a 4 year old sable
female and Polar is a 4 year old albino male.
In their previous home, they were caged most of
the time and as a result have issues with the
need to "protect" their cage. When first
surrendered they would nip at hands that entered
into their cage in an effort to protect their
territory. With lots of time for free-roam
play, these two are quickly learning that they
do not need to be protect their cage as there is
much more world to explore. Polar is a very
large boy and is very aggressive toward other
ferrets so these two require a home where they
can be the only ferrets. |

 |
|
Firman |
|
Firman is a 6 year
old gentle, sweet silver male. He has
insulinoma and requires medication twice a day
to manage his condition. He also has adrenal
disease and is receiving monthly lupron
injections and will be assessed for surgery at a
later date. Despite all his issues, Firman is a
happy little boy who loves to eat his duck soup
and cuddle with his foster mom. Firman has a
very submissive personality and requires a home
with gentle-mannered ferrets or a home where he
can be the only ferret to soak up all the
attention. Firman also becomes stressed when
caged so a home where he can free-roam would be
best.
He does chew rubber (remote-control
buttons are a favorite) so vigilant ferretproofing is especially important for him. |
 |
|
Pandora, Icarus,
Autumn & Murray |
|
Pandora is a 5 1/2 year old
sable female, Icarus is a 3
1/2 year old sable male, Autumn
is a 4 1/2 year old champagne female and
Murray is a 3 1/2 year old silver male.
More information will be available once their
foster gets to know them better. |

 |
|
Bear |
|
Bear
is a 5 year old cinnamon male who is very
playful and inquisitive. He loves to
bounce around the wide open spaces in his foster
home, while dooking and trying to encourage the
people around him to join in his fun. He
gets along with other ferrets (and is good
buddies with Taz, above) and seems to care
less about the cats that share his home.
He will be available for adoption once he fully
recovers from his adrenal surgery. |
 |
|
Victoria & Kam |
|
Victoria is a beautiful fluffy 3 year old
champagne female
and
Kam is a
3
year old DEW male with two very distinct black
circle patterns in his fur, one on his upper
neck the other on the top of his hind leg.
Further information to be provided once their
foster home gets to know them better. |

 |
|
Leo |
|
Leo
is 4 year old sable male who is very sweet
and talkative. He's never been around other
ferrets, and was terrified of his foster mom's
ferrets when he first saw them! While he did get
over his fear pretty quick, at this point he
would do best as the only ferret in a home. He's
a terrific "people" ferret, and will dook at
your feet until you pick him up for a cuddle.
Leo is still trying to figure out what to do
with tubes but loves rolling around inside
crinkle bags, and has "adopted" a green teddy
bear which he likes to take exploring with him.
Leo is adrenal so he is receiving monthly lupron
and will be scheduled for surgery. |
 |
|
Savanna |
|
Savanna
is an approximately 3 year old butterscotch
female. She is a very sweet little girl who is
still learning what toys and treats are. She is
really good with her litter pan habits, and
always takes the time to find the box. She does
well with other ferrets that are more submissive
and laid back like her, and enjoys playing with
them. Due to adrenal disease, she has lost most
of her hair, but is now on monthly treatments,
which should help her hair grow back until she
can receive surgery. She is learning what
cuddling and play from humans is like, and is
still unsure of people, probably due to lack of
handling. She will occasionally nip if she feels
threatened, but it’s not at all hard, more like
a warning. With love and patience, she is sure
to be a welcome addition to any family. |

Missy & Snowball |
|
Snowball is a 5 year old
DEW male and Missy is a 4.5 year old sable
female. Snowball and Missy have adrenal
disease and insulinoma and will be scheduled
for surgery shortly. They were surrendered
because the former owner didn't have time to
spend with them. They were previously fed
peanut butter and chocolate as treats.
They are all very laid back. More
information will be posted once their foster
family gets to know them better.
Sadly, Missy
and Snowball's friend Bandit, a 5.5 year old
sable female, recently crossed over the bridge.
She will be missed dearly.
